the end

this has been a good experience. did learn some new things. that zoho is awesome and i think everyone should have an account.

betty-out--

pb wiki

pb wiki is a wiki full of wikis. just another tool. i'm sure it's useful to some.

podcasting

because i've waited to the last minute to finish this, i went to the first podcast that came up when i typed in library. the podcast was from Dowling College Library Omnibus, and it was about hamlet. what i got out of it was that i feel some people are listeners and some people are readers. this is just a good tool for the listeners.

audiobooks

our library has netlibrary. patrons love it. it's great when you have to travel and you are not constantly changing out discs or worse...tapes. i wish more people would get into it because it really is a wonderful thing.

youtube

never been intrested in youtube. the only time i even go to the site is when my sister-in-law sends me a video of my nephews. there is this one that you have to see. here is the link http://youtube.com/watch?v=WpcXr1kGisE. it is very funny but you feel sorry for the poor little guy.

not feeling very "brave" so i will not be creating a video.

zoho

great thing to have. especially if you forgot your memory stick. easy to pull up and look at your docs. so far i think this is the best tool from these exercises.

wiki

wikis are great. We have a wiki page for our library. We have events listed as well as a "new" section which list the new books in the library. It just has a lot of good info for our patrons. They can also comment on books. http://www.ci.harker-heights.tx.us/hhplwiki/index.php?title=Main_Page
